Hi Angela,
thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor! things like long necklaces can draw attention away from your broad shoulders and make you appear taller hence slimmer. Shirts will compliment your broad shoulders, and you could totally try out the popular denim shirts that we have in Topshop now. Pair it up with candy colored tank tops and cute shorts and you're good to roll!

Message* hi,
I have an extremely small waist but quite fat thighs:(..happy with top but -_- with my bottom... what should i avoid wearing? And can u advice me on what I SHOULD wear? ;) thks!

Dear Xy,
Thanks for writing to the F3 style advisor!
Well, in this case can try to wear shifts dresses or more structured cut items. Stuff to avoid would be perhaps waisted belts, as these will focus quite a fair bit on your waist. It may make your waist look even smaller and the bottom part of your body big. Something you could experiment with is shoulder padded tops, as this will help to balance your top and bottom out nicely. Hope this helps! If there's anything else we can help you out with do feel free to drop us a line!

Message* hi, im a skinny guy and i like wearing skinnies. is there anyway to make me look less thin and what kind of shirts goes best with skinnies?
Thanks

Dear David,
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor! For starters, try to avoid wearing dark skinnies. Lighter wash denim would work better as they generally make the wearer look bigger. Otherwise, you might want to try some chinos. They are the must have this season so they should be really easy to find! Topman carries a wide range of different colors and designs so you could always swing by to check them out. Though they aren't your typical skinnies, they're really comfy to wear, plus they look great with tons of stuff! Have fun mixing and matching!
Cheers!

HI! Having trouble finding the right dress as I am thin and flat chested. So not all dresses suit me and I am kind of uncomfortable with showing my back! I am chosen to give a speech during the dinner so I don't want to look sloppy and casual(my usual style) HELP!!

Hi Hazel,
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor!
For starters, you can try dresses with ruffle details in front to give an illusion of a fuller chest. You could opt for colors like cream or even lavender as these are really in trend right now. You can try playing around with fabrics like chiffon and lace, as they make the wearer look more sophisticated and would definitely be great choices for a wedding.
You can use statement accessories to enhance your look but remember to keep them simple and tasteful! Have fun mixing and matching!
Cheers!

Hi, i am tall but a little skinny, so my apparels usually end up either being too baggy, or a little bit tight-fitting to make me look skinny. any advice?

Hi there Kendall,
Well, you can try pinstriped tees, graphic tees or tank tops as they are timeless pieces that hardly ever go out of style, plus you can dress them up or down! Pair them with denim shorts and long cardigans for a more laidback style. If you're feeling more adventurous, you can pair them with the popular harem pants which will look great
with your height. Add on a denim jacket when the lecture halls are cold in school! For your footwear, some embellished sandals – the summer essentials would go great with nearly everything! It would be a great outfit to wear to school or a day out!

Reply:
Hey Glenys,
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor!
Well, in this case, the stockings already come with a printed design on them, so try not to match them with a printed bottom. You could try to do a sweet rock chic look by pairing them with a light demin jacket and motif tees. Complete the look with a pair of black boots.

Hello Francesca!
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor!
Well, since this spring/summer is all about nude colors, why not try a light colored dress instead of the boring usual? Also, body-con dresses are back again this season! Pair your outfit with a nice printed pair of hosiery to give it a twist. Have fun at the wedding! =)

Hello Janice!
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor!
Well, not to worry, it ' s not a big problem. For starters, you could try using a belt to bring down your waist line. Another thing you could do is try wearing longer tops or long statement necklaces as these will also help to lengthen your torso.
Give it a try and don't be afraid to mix and match! =)

Message* Hi, I am in the late 40+ and look pump and short. Is there any casual like top and pants that suit me better.
I attend casual meeting most of the nite and I need to dress up comfortably and look good at the same time too. I am conscious over my tummy, any coverage in your style of clothes that I can wear for this sort of occassion. Thank you for your advice. Regards Janice

Hi Janice,
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast forward style advisor!
To make you look taller and slimmer, you may want to try wearing scoop or V-neck tops, or even a longer necklace as these will elongate your neckline. Try to avoid body-con dresses, but rather go for the straight shift ones. Longer tops like tunics will do too! You could also try wearing cotton blazers as these will give the wearer better structure. Topshop offers some really comfortable jersey dresses that will definitely fit your needs so feel free to drop by and check them out! =)
Happy shopping and thank you for your support!

I would like to dress up in fashion and look slim too ((: Could You give me some suggestions.? Thanks !!

Hey Vionn Vionn,
Thanks for writing to the Fashion Fast Forward style advisor!
Well, for starters I'm very sure you'd look great in shoulder pads! They're designed to make you look broader around the shoulders, and this will balance up your body. Wearing a lighter tone for your top will help as well. Good news is that shoulder pads are really IN right now, so you can find them pretty easily in lots of apparel!
Happy shopping!

Message * I've got really big hips. How can I look good in skirts, dresses and pants?
Reply:
Hi Noelle,
Thanks for writing to FashionFastForward style advisor!
Well, first of all try to avoid any bottoms with gathers or pleats as these will add volume to the wearer. You could go for structured skirts that end slightly above the knee.
Our style advisor recommends pencil skirts, as they are nice and fitting, but have enough room for you to move around with ease. Plus, they are super easy to match! Remember, the most important thing is to be comfortable in what you wear. :) Hope this helps!
