With an air of eccentricity the SS12 Topman Design boy exits the runway with a look of rebellious decadence. The feeling is super luxe, with bohemian Kashmiri and Moroccan influences in rich, romantic pallettes within patterns and printed silks. Sharp longer lined tailoring brings glamour and sophistication to this simple story of youthful bohemia.
Suiting cuts a sharp edge in longer lines with peak labels or a double breast in beautiful cotton linens and tonic jacquards. Jackets are worn over soft space dyed jersey pieces and pants are kick-flared and worn with a printed derby or coloured loafer.
A clash of prints with an Eastern influence adorns silk shirts and bomber jackets as well as knits and silk shorts. These prints dissipate into retro geo print jacquards and are mixed with luxurious suede shorts in rich burnt colours as well as making a statement appearance on silk pyjamas layered with standalone outerwear.
The bag of the season for Topman Design SS12 is a printed Moroc leather shopper rolled and belted to form a harder hand held piece. Shoes are vibrant coloured loafers - penny and tassled, as well as signature print cotton derbys.
